Art Guidelines
Your VZones artwork must adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Your artwork must use only the colors from the VZones palette.
2. Your artwork must be uploaded in the correct resolution, 72 dpi.
3. Your artwork must be uploaded with a plain white background.
4. Try not to use transparent black and white (especially around the eyes or in the outline) unless it is needed. Remember that in the VZones color palette, the corner white and black are transparent. The artist should try to avoid using these colors unless it is necessary (as in the case of filling in glasses).
5. Do not use the non-color replaceable bright lime green colors in your artwork.
6. All gestures, moods, and other frames of animation from your artwork must be included in the same image file.
7. Please make sure that your creation looks original when using already existing art as a model. To give you an idea of how VZones judges whether or not artwork resembles something that already exists, keep in mind that during our evaluation, if the item can be mistaken for an already existing item or looks too much like a "twin" of an already existing item, we will not accept it.
8. Artwork must be color replacable. Simple objects that are easily made color replacable but are not, will not be accepted. Only complex objects that need to use more colors than that will allow will be considered in totally non replacable colors.
Use the built in paint tools to test the colors on your item!
