IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

Here is a list of common errors - DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR ART IF YOU FIND THESE ERRORS - IT WILL BE REJECTED:

1. Stray pixels of non-color replaceable colors or using non-color replaceable greys in the face.
2. Sending file with inappropriate color palette.
3. Sending file in incorrect resolution. (should be 72 dpi)
4. Sending file in RGB color mode instead of the Indexed color palette.
5. Using transparent black and white (usually around the eyes or in the outline). Remember that in the VZones color palette, the corner white and black are transparent. The artist should try to avoid using these colors unless it is necessary (as in the case of filling in glasses).
6. Using the non-color replaceable bright lime green colors for the hair.
7. Each view of a submitted head is being sent as a separate file. The head views should be saved in two (2) files - 1. All views of the head without the grid; 2. All views of the head within the grid.
8. The head resembles too closely a head that is already inworld. Please make sure that your creation looks original when using an already existing head as a model. To give you an idea of how VZones judges whether or not a head resembles an existing one, keep in mind that during our evaluation, if the head can be mistaken for an already existing head or looks too much like a "twin" of an already existing head, we will not accept it.
8. Artwork should be color replacable. Simple objects that are easily made color replacable but are not, will not be accepted. Only complex objects that need to use more colors than that will allow or that are intended to be used iw as a randomizer will be considered in totally non replacable colors.

If your submission exhibits any of the above errors after an initial evaluation, it will be sent back to you. You will need to refer to the Official VZones Art Forum for fixes.
